The Serra da Canastra shelters the paradise in the land: The Hotel Passaredo Farm, the better option in lodging in the region. To protect this sanctuary, the National Park of the Serra da Canastra was created in 1972. Here are located, among others, the source of the river São Francisco, the Old Chico, and also of the Grande river, that helps to form the river Paraná.

The Hotel Passaredo Farm was constructed in 2005/2006. The house headquarters and the chalets are very pretty and spacious, of modern construction and wonderful, unique finishing.

The Serra da Canastra is a region of uneven beauty, with a relief marked by the Mountains of the Serra da Canastra the Serra da Babilônia. The vegetation is characterized for interesting contrast: To the side of the typical vegetation of the Cerrado (a kind of savannah), coexists a flaring and exuberant vegetation that involves the rivers, streams and springs.
